The Star Benetti Yacht Hosts Christmas in July

Last week, we had the opportunity to work with The Star to deck out all three floors of their Benetti Yacht with a real Christmas tree and hand-crafted Christmas decor for their Christmas in July event. 

With only a week and a half to plan and execute this event, we had to work fast. The brief given was to elevate the space and create a Christmas spirit ambience that was warm and inviting, reminiscent of a traditional European or British winter Christmas. 

Our preparation started with a trip to our supplier’s farm in Goulbourn in search of the perfect Christmas tree for the event. We explored the fields of the quality Christmas trees on our quad bikes with the farm dog, Pip, eventually finding a tree that was the perfect size, shape and colour. After pruning some older pines to use to assemble into Christmas decor, we made our way back to Sydney and began constructing each installation. 

For the event, we created a Christmas pine garland, two wreaths, a decorated tree and a Christmas-inspired centrepiece. Below is a glimpse into the pieces we created for The Star's Christmas in July event.
