About
Inspired while living in the heart of Paris, Amy Thai returned home to Sydney to launch Don de L’Amour in 2019. French for the 'Gift of Love', our botanical art and design studio is known for boldness, creativity and attention to detail. Through floral art and sculpture, Don de L’Amour explores the relationships between time, space and movement while looks at the different ways we connect to nature and art.
Founder, Artist and Creative Director Amy Thai is known for her expressive and poetic work in floristry at the helm of Eric Chauvin Paris and world-renowned Parisian haute couture houses. Captivated by the realm of French-style flowers and the infinite creative possibilities that come with it, Amy wanted to enliven Sydney's floral landscape with exquisite creations and her speciality of floristry and design.
At Don de L’Amour, we specialize in crafting small to large-scale art installations, powerful brand experiences, and events that transcend the ordinary. Our journey within the floristry and arts industry has led us to carve a niche, where nature's delicate art form meets bold creative expression.
As we have collaborated on unique and creative projects with clients, partners, and external consultants, we've embraced a mantra: 'invite the unexpected.' This ethos propels us to explore new frontiers, embrace radical creativity, and cater to the unique needs of our clients.
Don de L'Amour's works have been published in Vogue Australia and featured in The New York Times as one of Australia’s leading artists changing the floral landscape; in 2022 we were awarded the national winner of Australian Women’s Small Business Champions.
From 2024 we have expanded our services to a global clientele, providing the opportunity for clients worldwide to engage with our offerings.
