Sustainability at Don de L’Amour

At Don de L’Amour, sustainability sits at the heart of everything we create. We design with awareness of the global forces shaping our future—climate change, rapid urbanisation, inequality, and resource stress—and we are committed to responding with action, creativity, and responsibility.

We have set ambitious new sustainability targets. They are both our call to action and our measure of success as we begin the next chapter of our story. We know these goals will not be easy to achieve—but it is precisely this challenge that makes them worth pursuing. Together with our clients, partners, and supply chain, we are building pathways to change and contributing to the transformation of our industry.

As a company, we aim to confront the climate crisis directly while delivering value for our clients and honouring our responsibility to the natural world. Achieving a sustainable business model requires both immediate action and long-term vision. We are tackling this through clear short, medium, and long-term goals—addressing direct emissions today, and fostering partnerships to influence wider systemic change.

Our five key strategies for sustainability:

  1. Decarbonising florals – reducing the carbon footprint of our floral sourcing, design, and delivery.
  2. Eliminating plastics and foam – phasing out unsustainable materials across all operations.
  3. Repurposing and extending materials – designing systems for reuse to minimise waste from events and commissions.
  4. Collaborating across the supply chain – working with partners to set clear pathways toward zero carbon.
  5. Transitioning to renewables – supporting our partners in the shift to 100% renewable electricity.

For us, sustainability is not an obligation—it is a creative challenge. It inspires us to imagine new ways of working, to bring beauty into the world responsibly, and to leave a lasting positive impact.
